Rare Cultivars

Among garden perennials, there are cultivars that can be described as rare for some reason. It is exactly as there are rare jewels, rare cars, expensive perfumes or rare paintings. Plants are rare because they are difficult to reproduce, difficult to grow, mother plants are very difficult to obtain, or are rare and infrequent in gardens. We usually have rare cultivars only in small quantities, and their price is always higher than that of conventional cultivars. These are often collection plants, especially suitable for collectors or experienced amateur and professional gardeners.
