Jeroen Linneman, a renowned hosta breeder from the Netherlands, is widely recognized for his exceptional work in developing cultivars under the "Valley's" prefix. With a strong presence in the international hosta community, he has registered 70 hostas with the American Hosta Society (AHS) and introduced approximately 450 named cultivars. In 2019, Jeroen reached a remarkable milestone by becoming the first non-American recipient of the prestigious Eunice Fisher Award, presented by the AHS. This award honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions to hosta breeding and promotion. Jeroen’s passion for hostas began many years ago, and he has since devoted himself to creating and introducing exceptional new cultivars. His dedication to quality and innovation has earned him widespread respect and admiration among hosta enthusiasts worldwide.
