This spring (from May 30 to June 1) we again organized our Hosta Day. The meeting of the hosta-lovers and hosta-enthusiasts. In our flower shop in Žiar nad Hronom we placed around 1000 hostas in pots in total number of more than 200 cultivars. There were many interesting cultivars. Very popular, among visitors, were small hosta ”Mouse” series, which were available in many color combinations. H. Mouse Ears, H. Mouse Trap, H. Dancing Mouse, H. Lucky Mouse, H. Sun Mouse, H. Smilling Mouse and some other. From unusual and rare cultivars, great interest aroused H. Zebra Stripes, its white-green leaves shone into the distance, H. Buffalo Bill, H. Zig Zag or H. Blizzard. B. Solberg´s very nice plant H. First Blush attracted many views with red color of leaves and leaf stalks. During all meeting, weather was very pleasant; therefore, many of you spend nice time watching hostas and discussing their care and planting details. Many of you have taken away from us full baskets of hostas and other plants...

Many of you have come, some from surrounding area, some even from larger distances. There were some, which came for the first time, but there were also regular customers who buy or order hostas from us every year. Thank you for visiting us and we look forward to seeing you next year...
